The State Board of Technical Education Jharkhand, Ranchi is under the administrative control of the Dep’t of Science & Technology, Government of Jharkhand. Since its formation the board is striving continuously for betterment of academic standard of Polytechnics and Women Industrial School (WIS) of this State. The board has introduced the Semester system from the session 2009-10, and updated the curricula in all the Polytechnics.
